Go outside. Connect to nature. Listen to the birds, feel the wind in your face, play in the dirt. Go canoeing, go for a hike, make a garden, sit by a lake, lay on the grass and look at the stars or the clouds. Turn your phone off and intentionally connect. And what will happen is that the sheer majesty of nature will begin to change you. Your breath will slow down, your mind will begin to focus, and the worries of the day will seem less. You will begin to be amazed by how blue the sky is, how the wind feels, how the forest smells - and you will slowly begin to fall in love with the wild. The thing about humans is that we protect what we love. So go outside and fall in love.
